Brussels, 03/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report of British Labour Party member, Mark Francis Watts, the European Parliament gave its approval on Tuesday to the conclusion of an agreement that aims to improve the maritime transport of goods between the Community and China (consultation). Parliament in particular, adopted an amendment (Socialist) requesting that issues relating to the recognition of third country flags be assessed during further changes to the agreement.
