03/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the European Parliament approved in Strasbourg a proposal aiming to ensure the continuation of work between Member States (including the ten new ones) and Eurostat on economic accounts and agriculture (EAA). The plenary adopted the report of PES member Maria Izquierdo Rojo (Spain) on this subject, noting that a statistical instrument was useful in the assessment of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
