Brussels, 03/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared aid amounting to EUR 36.5 million to promote regional cooperation between the new independent states (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan) by adopting the regional action programme Tacis 2003.
