Informal "Gymnich" meeting on Middle East, including Hamas on list of terrorist organisations, IGC, European security strategy

Brussels, 02/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Middle East, inclusion of Hamas on the EU's list of terrorist organisations, and preparation of the Intergovernmental Conference will be the main topics on the agenda of the informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers ("Gymnich") to be held on Friday and Saturday in Riva del Garda, Italy.

During Friday's luncheon, ministers will tackle the themes of European security and defence. CFSP High Representative Javier Solana will present the work under way...
