USA still not guaranteeing security of information on passengers but negotiations continue

Brussels, 02/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will continue negotiations with the USA to obtain better protection of information on airline passengers collected by the US authorities. A meetings was expected to take place "soon" in Brussels with the US Under Secretary for Internal Security, Asa Hutchinson, indicated a Commission spokesperson on Tuesday.
