Luxembourg, 02/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The rate of unemployment in the euro zone, with seasonal adjustments made, was 8.9% in July 2003, unchanged compared to one month earlier, according to Eurostat figures published on Tuesday. The rate was 8.4% in July 2002. The EU15 unemployment rate was 8.1% in July 2003 compared to 8% in June. It was 7.7% in July 2002.
