Commission gives go-ahead to aid for Otto Versand

Brussels, 25/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given the go-ahead for the German government to grant Otto Versand GmbH & Co. KG EUR 27.4 million in aid for the expansion of a mail order logistics centre at Haldensleben, (Saxony-Anhalt). The Commission believes the aid will create jobs and have little impact on competition since it is low intensity (23.625%) and below the ceiling for aid under the rules applicable to the centre.
