European Commission adopts package of measures aimed to improve goods inspections at external borders to combat terrorist threat

Brussels, 25/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, as planned, the Commission adopted two communications and a proposal of regulation that amends the Community customs code, intended to improve the control of goods at external borders in order to curb the terrorist threat and also contain health risks (see EUROPE of 24 July, p.12).
