Belgian non-ferrous metal producer UMICORE has acquired, by the intermediary of its US subsidiary, shares from the EAGLEPICHER TECHNOLOGIES company for USD 15 million in cash. The take-over involves a germanium production unit in Oklahoma. It employs 60 people.
