Council adopts regulation making slot allocations in Community airports more flexible

Brussels, 16/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - As announced in our edition of 15 July (p 12), the Ecofin council adopted on Tuesday without debate (with opposition from Spain and the abstention of Denmark and Sweden) the regulation to make the allocation of slots in Community airports more flexible as from 2004 in order to take into account the difficulties experienced by the airlines following the war in Iraq and the SARs epidemic.
