Parliamentary transport committee supports relaxing airport slots

Brussels, 17/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's transport committee is supporting the European Commission's proposal for relaxing the allocation of airport slots for landing and taking off. This move is in reaction to the difficulties experienced by the European airlines between March and October 2003, due to the war in Iraq and the outbreak of SARS.
