The French DANONE company is in preliminary discussions with certain shareholders from the Russian agro-foods group WIMM-BILL-DANN (turnover 824.7 million in 2002 with 23 factories) in view of acquiring a majority stake in the capital of the company specialised in fruit juice and milk products and which own a small 7.2% stake.
