Signing of bilateral agreement on Cambodia's membership of WTO

Brussels, 17/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Geneva next Thursday, the European Union and Cambodia will sign their bilateral agreement on the country's conditions for membership of the World Trade Organisation. "It is a great step forward", said the European Commission. Cambodia will be the first less-developed country to join the institution since its creation in 1995 following the Uruguay Round.
