ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) software

German conglomerate SIEMENS has acquired around 54% of the capital of CYCOS, a software manufacturer (turnover EUR 15 million expected for 2003 with staff of 140) and has launched a take-over bid for the rest of its assets at the price of EUR 5.5 per share. This offer has valued the company at around EUR 42 million.
