Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid wins 2003 European Union contemporary architecture prize

Brussels, 23/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Union contemporary architecture prize The Mies van der Rohe Prize - will be awarded to Zaha Hadid on May 28 in Barcelona for the design and construction of the Hoenheim Nord tram terminal in Strasbourg, and the special Commendation for young architects (under 40 years old) will go to Jürgen Mayer H. for the Scharnhauser Park municipal offices in Ostfildern, Germany.
