Brussels, 23/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - At its 3-day meeting in Brussels aimed at finalising a full (but not full in the "policies" section) draft treaty for presentation to the plenary session of 30th and 31st May, the presidium of the European Convention also debated the matter of economic governance, including the role of the European Commission in the excessive deficit procedure provided for by the Stability and Growth Pact.
