Moldova assumes Presidency for six months

Strasbourg, 21/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Moldova has just taken over from Malta at the head of the Council of Europe. It will be occupying the rotating Presidency of the pro-European organisation, that brings together 45 Member States. Among the new Presidency's priorities, the Moldavian Foreign Affairs Minister, Nicolae Dudau, indicated, are: preparation of the 3rd Summit of the Council of Europe; consolidation of regional cooperation in Europe; organisation of a conference on "reoccurring...
