FYROM could apply for EU membership by end of year and be NATO member by 2006 - no more financial resources for Balkans in view of their integration into EUROPE

Brussels, 21/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Ilinka Mitreva, Foreign Affairs Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), on Tuesday presented her country's progress in its reforms, the prospect of its accession to the EU, and her expectations for the Thessaloniki Summit of 20 and 21 June.
