Court of Justice recognises specific demands to protect quality of Grana Padano cheese and Parma ham

Brussels, 21/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - In a decision made by the Court of Justice on Tuesday, the Court ruled that maintaining the quality and name of Grana Padana cheese and "Parma ham" are justified "subject to the condition that the grating and production are done in the region of production".
