Brussels, 21/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, France and the United Kingdom submitted a joint note to their partners within the Competitiveness Council inviting them to examine the impact that the draft directive on environmental liability would have on reaching the Lisbon goal, which is to make the EU the most competitive economy in the world by 2010.
