Athens Ministerial conference scrutinises positive effects of major sports events at a local level

Brussels, 07/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - EU Sports Ministers are meeting up informally with their counterparts from the future new Member States on 8 and 9 May in Athens, under the Chairmanship of George Liannis, responsible for sport policy in Greece. The European Commission are represented by Viviane Reding.
