MR PATTEN HOPES EU CAN OPEN UP ITS MARKETS TO PALESTINIAN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

Brussels, 07/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner for External Relations, Chris Patten, confirmed after a meeting with the Palestinian Minister of Finance, Salam Fayyad (according to API), that the EU was seeking to relaunch efforts for opening up its markets to Palestinian agricultural products at a meeting planned at the end of May in Crete.
