Commission reaches agreement with DONG and DUC consortium to open Danish gas market up to competition

Brussels, 24/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and the Danish Competition Authority have reached an agreement concerning the opening of the Danish gas market which allows the inquiry opened in July 2001 in this connection to be closed. The investigation was on the behaviour of the traditional Danish operator in the gas sector, DONG, and that of the three main Danish producers which market their production in common within a consortium called DUC (Dansk Undergrunds...
