Brussels, 24/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - In an open letter to the members of the European Convention, the MEP for the People's Party José Maria Gil-Robles encourages the Convention to make use of the Treaty instituting a European Defence Community, with a supranational nature, including joint institutions, armed forces and a joint budget, signed on 27 May 1952 by Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, but never enforced due to its rejection by the French national...
