24/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The former Finnish Prime Minister Paavo Lipponen was elected President of the Finnish Parliament by 179 yes, 6 no and 15 abstentions. The Finnish Social Democrat refused to take part in the government of the centre coalition of Anneli Jäättenmäki.
