EU welcomes agreement over new government

Brussels, 24/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 23 April, President Prodi welcomed news of the agreement concerning the formation of the new cabinet in the Palestinian Authority. We now wait its rapid submission to the Palestinian Legislative Council, in the hope of it receiving parliamentary assent and assuming its duties as quickly as possible, he said in a statement.
