Tehran called on to sign NP Protocol to allow IAEA inspections

Brussels, 11/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - In reaction to Iran's intention to begin processing uranium in its nuclear programme, United Nations and European Union officials called on Tehran to sign a Non-Proliferation Protocol (NPP), which would allow for more complete inspections from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which could be carried out in a very short space of time, following notification.
