Parliament and Commission regret United States has blocked WTO agreement on medicinal products

Strasbourg, 11/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Monday evening at the opening of the plenary session, the European Parliament held a debate with Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy on the blocked negotiations at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on the use of generic medicines. The Parliament is to adopt a resolution on this subject on Wednesday.
