Brussels, 07/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The list of candidates of the ten future Member States of the EU to the posts of European Commissioner will be known on 1 March 2004, and a special plenary session of the European Parliament will be convened on 1 May 2004 - date when the Accession Treaty takes effect - in order to take a stance on the appointment of ten new Commissioners, Georges Papandreou, EU Council President, states in a letter to Pat Cox, President of the European Parliament.
