07/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has launched, from 6 February to 16 March, an on-line public consultation exercise on the future of organic farming. The Commission would like to hear public ideas and opinions before adopting, at the end of the year, an action plan for developing this kind of farming. Citizens are questioned, notably, on the possibilities open and limits to the development of organic farming and the degree of presence of the European bio logo.
