EU and Algeria will strengthen their cooperation on energy supply security and maritime security

Brussels, 07/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - During an official visit to Algeria, from 6 to 9 February, Loyola de Palacio, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for transport and energy, reviewed cooperation between the EU and Algeria in energy and transport matters. The Commissioner met Algerian Minister for Energy and Mines, Chakib Khelil, and Transport Minister Abdelmalek Sellal.
