Commission continues infringement proceedings on market regulation and monitoring of Lloyd's

Brussels, 22/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission decided to continue its infringement proceedings with regard to regulation and market monitoring of Lloyd's Insurance Market, following changes to the regulation by the Financial Services and Markets Act 200 (FSMA 2000), the British law of 2000 on financial service markets (see Europe 13 December 2002 p 15).
