Commission confirms its "neither fish nor fowl" assessment of implementation targets for improving single market

Brussels, 15/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - A few days after the Commission celebrated the tenth anniversary of the "great single market (see EUROPE 8 January p 9) a documents from its services presented in Strasbourg by Frits Bolkestein as a contributions to the Spring Summit, confirmed the mixed results of the implementation of the key policies in 2002 aimed at improving how the single market works.
