15/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to the Boersen Zeitung, two women are favourites in the race to succeed Sirka Hämäläinen from Finland, on the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, where she is responsible for risk management, operations and payment systems. Ms Hämäläinen, the only women on a Board of six, will leave the ECB in May, upon expiry of her five-year term of office.
