Commission priorities for future promotion of gender equality in Union

Brussels, 15/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved a communication on "implementing the integration of the gender dimension in the planning documents of the Structural Funds 2000-2006". For the most part, this communication draws up an inventory of progress made n this area and covers all four funds (ESF, Erdf, Eaggf, Fifg) as well the objective 1,2 and 3 programmes. Its goal is to provide a contribution to the mid-term review of the Structural Funds.
