Copenhagen Forum on 20 and 21 December

Brussels, 17/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Danish Presidency is organising for 20 and 21 December in Copenhagen the annual EU discussion forum on human rights, to be opened by European Affairs Minister Bertel Haarder. Work will be carried out in four working groups: (1) human rights clauses in agreements with third countries; (2) capital punishment and torture; (3) transparency of the EU human rights policy; and (4) human rights and development cooperation.
