Discussion on Monday on international political themes before preparing for the finalisation of accession negotiations on Tuesday

Brussels, 06/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The General Affairs and External Relations Council on 9 December will begin its work by focusing on "external relations" points before preparing for the Copenhagen Summit on 10 December.

Monday afternoon. Ministers will discuss the following issues:

Middle East: Member States will have an exchange of views on recent developments in view of the debate at Copenhagen. The Presidency is not awaiting specific conclusions but the Council is expected to...
