06/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Questioned by the press on Thursday afternoon following the European Parliament vote on the status of MEPs, President Pat Cox admitted that he felt weakened by the result of the vote (see EUROPE yesterday p 14) and believed that the Parliament had also subsequently been weakened.
