Brussels, 06/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission is expected to adopt its proposals on Total Allowable Catches (TAC) and quotas for 2003, which may suggest to the Council that catches of cod are reduced by 79% (in relation to this year's catches) to the West of Scotland, by 66% in the North Sea and 63% in the Irish Sea.
