ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) petrochemicals

France's TOTALFINAELF is to create a 50/50 joint-venture with the South Korean group SAMSUNG in the petrochemicals sector in South Korea. The joint-venture, integrated within the complex SAMSUNG INDUSTRIAL GENERAL CHEMICALS will have an annual turnover of 1.2 bn euro, 600 million of which will go to the French group.
