Brussels, 04/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Geneva on Wednesday, in the framework of negotiations over the Doha Development Agenda, the European Union tabled a proposal aimed at strengthening the Special and Differential Treatment (SDT) enjoyed by developing countries under the agreements of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The text recommends a series of concrete measures that the Commission would like to see adopted by the end of the year.
