Mr Westendorp's requests to Convention

Brussels, 04/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Spanish Socialist Carlos Westendorp, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry, External Trade, Research and Energy, has explained in a letter to Convention Members of the EP, the demands made by his committee to the European Convention with regard to EU trade policy. He focuses on: Ex-ante consultation with the EP for all Community legislation and measures; Ex-post involvement of the EP and the assent procedure for all international agreements...
