Brussels, 02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Constitutional Committee adopted (18 in favour and 10 against), having amended it, the report by its chair Giorgio Napolitano (Democratici di Sinistra). This report, that pleads in favour of more involvement and consultation of the regions and local authorities in the legislative process and the drafting of European policies (see EUROPE of 14 November), will be examined in plenary in Strasbourg in December.
