Allied Harmony replaces Amber Fox - UN review in February 2003 to verify whether EU is able to take over from NATO

Brussels, 02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The NATO Council decided, Friday last, that the Amber Fox mission in Macedonia will end on 15 December to be replaced by a lighter "military presence" called Allied Harmony. Macedonian authorities confirmed that their needs in terms of international military presence have changed over recent months.
