Tuesday, Commission to present its strategy on integrating immigration in relations with third countries - Patten, Vitorino, Nielson and Schreyer

Brussels, 02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission is to finally adopt its communication on integrating the problem of immigration in the Union's relations with third countries. Thos communication has been drafted by Patten (external relations), Vitorino (justice and home affairs), Nielson (development) and Schreyer (budget). It pools the work undertaken by different directorates general, who found it difficult to agree on the text of the communication.
