ACP states call on Brazil and Australia to withdraw their WTO appeal against EU sugar policy, but are prepared to defend their interests at WTO

Brussels, 24/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The appeals to the WTO made by Australia and Brazil against the European Union's Common Market Organisation of sugar are of great concern to the entire ACP Group (African, Caribbean and Pacific countries), which have stated their willingness to defend their interests at the WTO.
