Vitorino's group wants incorporation of Charter of Fundamental Rights and accession to European Convention on Human Rights

Brussels, 24/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The final report of the Working Group on Human Rights chaired by European Commissioner Antonio Vitorino stressed the need to incorporate the Charter of Fundamental Rights into the future Constitutional Treaty and for it to allow for the EU to joint the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
