Brussels, 24/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - European Convention President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, will be in Rome on 30 and 31 October. On 30 October VGE will have a working dinner offered by Prime Minister (and Foreign Minister) Silvio Berlusconi in which will also participate Deputy Prime Minister Giancarlo Fini (representative of the Italian Government in the Convention) and Giuliano Amato, Convention Vice-President. The same day, he will be received by the Speaker of the House of Deputies, Casini and Speaker of the Senate Pera. On 31 October, VGE will again meet Giancarlo Fini with other Italian members of the Convention. After a working dinner offered by the President of the Republic, Ciampi, he will be received in audience by Pope Jean-Paul II.
