Strasbourg, 24/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Parliament gave its agreement at second reading on the proposal of directive on insider dealing and other market manipulations. The directive had been proposed in May 2001 by the Commission in order to increase the integrity of the European financial markets according to common norms, and therefore improve market confidence.
