24/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The New Delhi Conference on Climate Change opened in New Delhi on 23 October. One hundred and eighty-five countries took part. Indian Minister for the Environment Mr Baalu opened the work (that will last ten days) stressing the role to be played by the most industrialised countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
